I just did this oil changement, and in TW manuel, they propose oil with non additive product, in Yamaha they propose me Ipone oil for 4T with additive. Also the garage confirm it's not necessary to buy oil 100 % synthetic, just 50 % synthetic will be enought. The better is that you read the TW manual in order to find oil needed in your area / temperature seasons. I do not have a manual at the moment, I live in the Pyrenees so I think a 10/40 should be ok. Merci, je prendrai votre conseil. Je n'ai pas un manuel à l'heure actuelle, j'habite dans le Pyrenees ainsi je pense qu'un 10/40 devrait être correct. Merci David. My starter moter is playing up, it sounds very dry and not turning the engine properly. Oui, j'ai juste mis 10/40 syth de semi-finale dans :) Il a coûté environ 6 euros :) Mon moter de démarreur joue vers le haut, il semble très sec et ne tournant pas le moteur correctement. Concerning your starter motor, I would say that first of all you should go to the downloads section "Téléchargements", then choose "Manuels" and open or download the file "Manuel d'atelier de la Yamaha TW 125 '99 (s5ek1ae1)". It's in english and gives a lot of hints.
