Titre: New pot for Van Van
Posté par: erwin le Mer. 24 Janv. 2007, 16:47:16
As I promise, this is a picture of new exhaust for my Van Van!
It is a Kucelj exhaust (Croatian exhaust).
I noticed better performance, steering faster and sound is pleasent strong.
I am compleatly satisfied what I get with that exhaust!
Next change is a air filter and piston carb.I dont have manual,so if someone could tell me about measure of originale carb piston or measure of piston for better performance! Thanks ! :-)

Hi Erwin,

Here are the carb specs from the Factory Suzuki manual

TYPE                    MIKUNI BS26
BORE                    26MM
ID#                       13GA
MAIN JET               #115
JET NEEDLE            4EJ44-2ND
NEEDLE JET            P-0M
THROTTLE VALVE   #105
PILOT JET              #15

Here is a link to a jet kit

I have also looked at tuning parts from the USA Suzuki DRZ125 but i don't think they have a TPS (throttle position sensor) so carb's may not work on the van van?

Thanks Karl,you were helpful! :-)

So if I choose to put some sprint air filter and wider
jet(more gasoline),does anyone know which proportions of that changes are ideal?

After all that ,is it necessary to adjust throttle valve (air)?

Of course,thank you in advance..

I wish you all lots of km on your bikes :-)
