How much would you pay for a bike with EU registration document?
Comment pour une motocyclette (par titre de propriété d'un véhicule) vous payeriez-vous beaucoup?

Problem is that 225 cm3 are prohibited in France...
As 160 cm3, only agreement for 125 and 200 cm3...

My first calculation said, that I have to sell 4 bikes to have no loss.

~4000EUR inkl. a new exhaust with catalytic converter (G.P.R or CRD)

Importing a TW225 from Japan is not a piece of cake, specially to get the european homologation.
But you can try to writ to MacBig, he was speaking about importing few 225 from Japan. ; )

Ok. This price is acceptable for me. I read that, you are from Germany. For me it is beser if that bike will be in Germany. For me it is beser if I buy it from private person as used bike. Then in Poland I dont must pay tax -VAT(22%).
04.11. 2007 (11.45) near Swiebodzin (about 70km from Frankfurt nOder) we  (about 20 persons with bikes and quads) are going on the ride in wild terrain. Woods, lakes, old bunkers (zum beispil: Burschen Schlife). i invite you and your friends.

Sorry, but Swiebodzin is too far away, more than 400km. Maybe next year.

I will sell the bikes from private person to a private person. Because I can not handle any guaranty/warranty.

Mouais...C'est comme les pendules, on visualise mieux et plus vite des écarts sur un cadran à aiguille que devant des chiffres qui sautillent;c'est bon pour afficher une vitesse en Km/h. J'en ai été conquis sur la touingo que j'avais.

The first baseprice is ~4200EUR, but it can be some EUR more.
4200 for the original TW225 but with a G.P.R. exhaust with catalytic converter. You have to pay more, if you want tuning or optical parts.

Hello, I write tire, I mean in deutsch „ reifen”. I will have endure or cross “reifen”, are they in standard equipment TW225?
I look immediately for TW with max power, because my TW125 is to small and last Sunday is death.  
I read on www.yamaha-motor.es that TW200 have “Potencia máxima 8.8kW (12 HP) @ 9,000rpm”, is this mistake on this side or Spanish TW200 have any reduction?
Perhaps You can help me to buy new or almost new TW200 but without any reduction?

I know what you wrote.
The TW225 is original with the TW203/204 street tyres. It's possibile to deliver the 225 with offroad tyres, but you have to pay the tyres extra.

The TW200 from spain does have the ~16hp. The 12hp is not correct. It's a mistake from the spanish site.

I can try to help you with a TW200, but all new bikes need's a catalytic converter.
And I have to make a new exhaust emission test, this is very expensive.
At the end, you pay ~1000EUR more for a TW200 as a TW225.

I will better to have 225. I will buy it so quickly as it is possible. I have new off-road tires in my TW125 (for one on back I have paid about 220EUR – from Holland magazine Yamaha) , so I will buy normal, standard  TW225.
In Spain Yamaha-Motor sell new TW200, so they must have all “papers” on it. By dealers in Spain the price is about 3500-3700 EUR. The transport to Poland, I think about 300-400 EUR. This is about 4000EUR. This is almost the same as for TW225, but time is money . I think you can realize the plan. One man who will buy one TW225 – this will not be hard, to find them, if TW225 will be here in Europe with papers: pay and take.
My TW125 have reduction to 80km/h, perhaps you know, where can I  buy not expensive, used (but good)  electric module, without this reduction?

It is only the look. The technical spec's are the same.

Final price incl. transport to Germany:
3990EUR the 225 std. Edition (without german VAT)
4696EUR the 225 std. Edition (with german VAT)
4360EUR the 225 20th Edition (without german VAT)
5130EUR the 225 20th Edition (with german VAT)

Maybe I can get a better price from a japanese dealer.

I can agree for this price, but I dont know if i must pay vat. Whan I buy used bike in EU i don't must pay vat in Polen. You must explaine me how I will buy this bike from you. It will be new or used bike? I by it from private person? In Polen VAT is 22 %.
 I will have TW so quickly as it is posssible.

I have a customer in Finnland. He has a similar problem.

If he buyes a new bike as private person from Germany, he has to pay the price incl. german VAT and he has to pay 8% tax and 22% VAT in Finnland.

But we found 2 other options.
First option:
I can sell the new bike without german VAT to a person with european VAT number and this person has to pay his (Finnland, Poland) VAT and tax (customs dues -> Zollgebühren).
Second option:
He buyes the bike as used bike with german VAT and he has to pay only the tax (customs dues -> Zollgebühren).

I need all orders to 16.03.2008 and the money to 25.03.2008.
I think I will have the bikes on May 2008 and I think need 4 weeks for the homologation.

I can buy it as firm, but I have bought one BMW650 for my firm and I will better buy as private person. Then TW must be used in Germany for 6months, then I can by it as used and dont pay tax 22%.
We can also write another price on the paper. Tax is in %. 2200 x22% =484 Is it possible?

I am sorry, but I have to cancel the TW225 Import Project for a unknown time, because the financial risk is too high for me.

Maybe I can restart the project later, but at this time is 20.000 to 30.000 EUR for some unsaleable bikes too much.

L Idée me plait mais je serais intéresser par un honda ftr
Ca fait depuis un an que je cherche à savoir comment me procurer cette moto. Et hier j'ai vus devant chez moi un ftr j'ai halluciner  :-o  et le proprio est arrivé au même moment, je lui ai parlé, c'est un anglais, il l'a acheté en Angleterre 8000 euro je crois c'est un peu élevé comme prix  mais peu être que en l'important en groupe ça pourrait revenir moins cher.
Si vous voulez la voir elle est stationné en journée devant le 34, rue tronchet à paris c'est un rêve :-o
