superb pictures Karl , really that gives desire, had mecanical problems  ? , did the vanvans suffer from altitude ? , do you appriciate the French roads and food ?

Hi Nico-dem

Over 750miles/1200km, apart from adjusting the chain on the yelllow vanvan we had no mechanical problems
not bad with the type of steep mountain passes we were using, even riding offroad going to 2700m above Val-d-Isere
My Vanvan with the big bore Yoshimura Exhaust had a few misfires with the altitude (even the standard ones did at 2700m)

As for the French roads and food it was superb and we receive a friendly welcome wherever we stopped,highly recomended!
